May 18th, 2012 Meeting Minutes
Present:
Richard G, Sam E, Peter B, Robb M


Notes:
- All of us are ghosts
- Last council meeting
- Sam found some more mentors
o Jeff Liu – talked about whole mentorship program with Sam
o Meeting with potential mentors
 Concerned about tons of questions for future mentors
 Grilling on theology
o Robb is looking for discipleships with ties outside the fellowship
 In that context many questions might be appropriate
o Need to find out first what they want
 Host event a few times a month
 Mentor multiple people
 Etc
o Questions don’t necessarily need right anwers – need to identify people capable of mentoring
o Asking questions can be pleasant too – guided discussion
o Process for bringing in mentors
 Meet with Skippy, member of council (discipleship coordinator?), connector to us (pastor, related friend)
 Or come to FBM and share testimony
- Secretary stuff is ready to turn over
o We have lots of money
- Richard will talk to Becca about reimbursement from ASCIT
- Would be nice to have CCF storage space – books, songbooks, blue slip milkshakes stuff
o Putting it in random people’s rooms has not been ideal
o Should be accessible after hours
o What job in ASCIT handles clubs?
