Meeting Minutes April 27th

April 27th, 2012 Meeting Minutes Present: Tom H, Richard G, Sam E, Peter B, Tom M Notes: - Important Notes o Third term retreat is April 27 ---------------------------------------- - $75 per person for 20 people o $75 for additional people - 18 people signed up on spreadsheet - Robb will go help Skippy prepare retreat stuff at his house - Richard will try to collect money at retreat - Last week’s minutes be put on file but not posted on blog due to format - Comments are on the complaint on the google doc - Next large group Sam and Richard will be talking about relationships o Story o Wisdom we gained o Relationships - Sam scheduled next four large groups already because he’s boss - Spiritual warfare, then Peter and Jonathon on spiritual warfare - Yan Choi will be speaking on the trinity in two weeks - Over the summer – Tim will be here o Tim hasn’t thought about it really o Tim should find out who will be here o Maybe a dig-in o Nice to have something weekly o History of what has happened in previous summers - No one came to Peter’s small group  - Sam’s large group is still going well – 10 - Large groups have been very varied - Last FBM was really good o Got to important discussion o Ended on time - Next FBM will be at Luke’s apartment, with dinner o Need to talk about what council does now o Talk about what council will look like now  Want to put back SG coordinator o Should we split into core council and periphery o President, Secretary, LG Coordinator, SG Coordinator, Dig-in Dude, Discipleship, Frosh Prayer Person, Event Coordinator, Retreat Person, Worship Leader o Talk about which ones are critical o People can be nominated for multiple things o President, LG, and Secretary are biggest commitments o Would be nice to have a large whiteboard - Sam will talk to Dabiri, Jeff (pastor), and grad student group about being mentors o Will get some information on each potential mentor o Some alums also wish to be mentors
