April 6th, 2012 Meeting Minutes
Present:
Peter B, Richard G, Sam E, Tim J, Robb M

Notes:
- Important Notes
o Third term retreat is April 27
o Dig in is April 7

- Dig in is Saturday
o List of people by Friday noon – about 15
o Need drivers – Peter B could zipcar – Luke might be able to drive
o A few people want to come back early
o Takes like 40 minutes to walk – everyone could walk together
o Evidently need to encourage people to bring more cars next year :P
o What is for lunch at dig in? TIM
o What is structure? Split into how many discussion groups? TIM
o Should people look up words in original language? How much preparing?
o Notes on sections can be shared with others
o Leader can talk about the section they studied and then break into discussion groups
o Some discussion about what versions of the Bible people used to study
o TIM How is the book pertinent? Why do we study it? How does it apply to the fellowship today?
- Chris Mclendon will be coming to the retreat
- Will send out signups for retreat after dig in is done
- Ackerman is being picked up at 2 this Wednesday
o He should be coming at 4
o Peter is scheduled to talk with him at 3 next Monday
o Things are confused – flooding, voip, viability
o Peter will talk to him Monday
o On Wednesday – meet from 4-5 with council, Ackerman, Skippy, Cathy, and Luke
 This would be off-campus
 Luke’s apartment would be good
o From 5:15-6:30 Ackerman will talk to all of CCF and answer questions on campus
 Avery library or avery conference room
o SAM and Peter should draft email to CCF about court case
o Richard sent email out to council, Luke, Skippy informing them of meeting Wednesday
o Peter will send out email to CCF after talk with Mr Ackerman on Monday
- TIM will figure out rides to dig-in
- Large group was good and large
- Sam talked about large groups coming up – lots of new people
o Sam will probably be talking again
- Frosh prayer is going everyday
